Lady Bears fall to Corbin in first round of regional

Harlan County freshman Kalista Dunn went to the floor to keep the ball alive during 13th Region Tournament action Tuesday at Corbin. Dunn led the Lady Bears with 20 digs and four kills.

Coming off its first district championship in eight years, the Harlan County Lady Bears fell 25-17, 25-14, 25-10 to Corbin in the first round of the 13th Region Tournament on Tuesday at Corbin.
The 11-12 Lady Bears were led by freshman Kalista Dunn with 20 digs and four kills. Ashton Evans had 12 digs, two service aces, six digs and one kill. Lindsay Hall added 10 digs and two kills. Kylee Hoiska contributed nine digs. Brooklyn Wood added six digs. Chloe Shelton had three digs and two assists. Destiny Cornett added three digs and two kills. Lesleigh Brown had two digs. Savannah Hill and Emilee Eldridge added one dig each.
