Huff, Halcomb lead Green Hills past Tigers

Led by 20 points from Ethan Huff and 19 from Dalton Halcomb, Green Hills claimed a 47-30 win Monday at Black Mountain in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.
Shemar Carr led Black Mountain with 16 points.
Black Mountain rolled to a 40-20 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Aiden Blair scored 10 and Jamis Cupp and Ryder Middleton each added eight for the Tigers.
Arthur Harrison paced the Falcons with 13 points.

Brady Freeman led the Wildcats with 18 points.
Noah Ledford scored six as Wallins edged Evarts 21-17 in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
