The Harlan County Heat, a local AAU squad, won all four games Saturday in the Best of the Best Tournament at the TNT Sportsplex in Kingsport, Tenn., rolling past the Tennessee Warriors 51-19, the Floyd County Raiders 62-13 and Tennessee Shugart 42-10 before defeating Tennessee Thrive 42-34 in the finals.
Eli Joseph scored 15 and Trey Creech added 11 in the win over the Warriors. Hudson Faulkner tossed in eight points, followed by Carson Sanders with six, Blake Johnson with five, Brycen Saylor with four and Reagan Clem with two.
Joseph fired in 18 in the win over the Raiders. Creech and Faulkner added 11 and 10 points, respectively, followed by Clem and Sanders with six each, Johnson with five and Saylor with four.
Faulkner led the Heat against Tennessee Shugart with 18 points. Joseph scored six, followed by Creech with five, Sanders and Saylor with four each, Johnson with three and Clem with two.
Creech scored 17 in the championship game, followed closely by Faulkner with 14 and Johnson with 11.
