Harlan County guard Ella Karst had two big games in earning Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week honors a week ago. She had an ever bigger three-game stretch this past week in receiving the honor once again. Karst scored 30 points on Tuesday in a 67-58 loss at Bell County, then followed it up with a 27-point effort in a win over Leslie County, the 14th Region preseason favorite, on Thursday. Karst added 18 points on Friday in a 71-41 rout of Jenkins, sitting out the second half with the other HC starters.
