Emma Owens had a week to remember for the Harlan Lady Dragons, scoring 48 points over two games to earn the selection as the Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week. Owens scored 26 points on Tuesday in a 71-66 loss to Letcher. Owens added a team-high 22 points on Saturday, hitting six of eight from behind the 3-piont line, in a 62-56 loss at Rockcastle County in the Rocket Classic. Owens reeled off five straight points in the fourth quarter to pull Harlan within one before Rockcastle hit consecutive shots to hang on for the win.
