With his ability to score, rebound and protect the rim, Harlan senior center Will Austin has been a major reason for the Harlan Green Dragons’ success to this point as they take a 19-3 record into Tuesday’s game at Bell County. Austin’s skills were on display last week at the state All “A” Classic in Richmond as he scored 16 points and pulled down 18 rebounds in the Dragons’ 50-49 loss to Martin County. Austin added 22 points and nine rebounds on Monday as the Dragons claimed a hard-fought 76-72 win over defending 15th Region champ Pikeville. Austin earned Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week honors for his performance in the two games.
