In all seasons and all sports, Harlan County’s Jonah Swanner has a knack for being in the middle of anything good for the Black Bears. He played a key role in all three Harlan County baseball wins this week to earn Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week honors. Swanner had a single in the Bears’ 12-4 win over Bell County on Monday to break a six-game losing streak. He hit a home run and added a sacrifice fly as part of.a three-RBI night Tuesday in the Bears’ 12-1 win Tuesday at Bell County. He finished with two singles Saturday to help HCHS rally for a 11-10 win over visiting East Ridge.
