Lisenbee’s five-hit night sparks Lady Dragons in win at Barbourville

Harlan’s Mallory McNiel delivered a pitch in action earlier this season. The Lady Dragons rolled to a 15-4 win over Barbourville on Monday.

Ella Lisenbee pounded out five hits from the leadoff spot, including her sixth home run of the season, as Harlan coasted to a 15-4 win Monday at Barbourville.
Ella Farley added a double and two singles as part of a 19-hit attack. Mallory McNiel and Ava Nunez each had three hits with Nunez driving in five runs. Addison Jackson had a triple and single. Abbi Fields added a double and single. Ally Kirby had one single.
McNiel earned the win in the circle as she gave up two runs on seven hits over five innings, with four strikeouts and two walks. Amy Roman allowed two runs on four hits in two innings.
The 3-12 Lady Dragons play host to Leslie County on Tuesday.
