Offense dominated Wednesday at Middlesboro as the Lady Jackets and visiting Lady Dragons teamed for 29 runs and 40 hits with Middlesboro holding off a comeback to win 16-13.
Ella Lisenbee pounded out four hits, including her seventh home run and two doubles, to lead the Lady Dragons. Addison Jackson added a double and two singles. Mallory McNiel contributed three singles. Abbi Fields had a double and single, while Ally Kirby added two singles. Gracie Hensley contributed a double. Ella Farley, Ava Nunez and Amy Roman added one single each.
Harlan (3-15) returns to action Thursday at Pineville. The 12-11 Lady Jackets travel to Lynn Camp on Thursday.
