In winning three of five games during the week, the Harlan Lady Dragons’ offense came alive by reaching double digits four times. Addison Jackson and Ella Lisenbee each had monster weeks with the bat as Jackson succeeded Lisenbee as the Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week.
Jackson scored three runs and pounded out a triple and double as the Lady Dragons downed Knott Central 13-3 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. She followed that with two hits and four RBI in a 15-9 win in the nightcap. She had a double in an 8-5 loss to Leslie County on Tuesday and a triple and single in a 16-8 win over Barbourville on Monday. She had a double and two singles in a 16-13 loss at Middlesboro on Wednesday.
