Bears sweep Bell in freshman/junior varsity doubleheader

Harlan County swept a doubleheader at Bell County in freshman/junior varsity scrimmage action Monday.
Shemar Carr scored 12 points and Landon Brock and Bryson Bryant each added 10 as the Bears won 48-45 in freshman action. Cole Cornett tossed in eight, followed by Brady Freeman with four and Ethan Huff and Dalton Halcomb with two each.
Sophomore guard Brennan Blevins poured in 20 points as HCHS won 43-42 in junior varsity action. Brock and Cornett scored eight each. Bryant and Carr chipped in with four and three points, respectively.
