Harlan County senior outfielder Jonah Swanner attended a baseball camp at Jacksonville State (Alabama) earlier this week. Swanner led the Bears in several categories last season as HCHS posted a 17-13 mark. He hit .441 and connected on three home runs, including a grand slam against Middlesboro in the district tournament finals. Swanner was third on the team in hits with 30 and drove in 15 runs while playing outstanding defense. Swanner attended the camp with HCHS baseball coach Scotty Bailey and HCHS football coach Amos McCreary, a former Jacksonville football player.
