HCHS girls take first in season-opening meet at Lynn Camp

The+Harlan+County+girls+varsity+team+won+the+season-opening+race+on+Saturday+at+Lynn+Camp.+Team+members+include+Addi+Gray%2C+Aliyah+Deleon%2C+Peyton+Lunsford%2C+Preslee+Hensley+and+Lauren+Lewis.+Olivia+Kelly+also+participated+in+the+race+but+was+not+pictured.
The Harlan County girls varsity team won the season-opening race on Saturday at Lynn Camp. Team members include Addi Gray, Aliyah Deleon, Peyton Lunsford, Preslee Hensley and Lauren Lewis. Olivia Kelly also participated in the race but was not pictured.
Harlan County runners Charli Shepherd, Jaycee Simpson, Kiera Roberts and Gracie Roberts each topped the previous 3K school record as the Lady Bears won the season-opening middle school race at Lynn Camp. Gracie Roberts placed first, while Kiera Roberts was third, Charli Shepherd was fourth and Simpson was fifth.
