Middlesboro ran its win streak to six with a 4-0 district victory Thursday at Harlan County.
First-year Harlan County coach Hannah Pittman said the game was a learning experience for her squad.
“Games like tonight look bad on the stat sheet, but are an amazing learning experience for these girls,” Pittman said. “We’re an extremely young team, and I’m so proud of the effort my players are putting in. If they stay focused and keep working hard we will be an entirely different team by the time district tournament rolls around in October.”
