Evarts+upset+Cumberland+and+Cawood+to+win+the+1983+52nd+District+championship.+The+Wildcats+defeated+Oneida+Baptist+in+the+regional+tournament+before+falling+to+Middlesboro+in+the+semifinals+in+the+final+game+that+Billy+Hicks+coached+for+the+Wildcats.
