Dragons open season with win over W.B. Muncy

Harlan opened its middle school basketball schedule Monday by splitting with visiting W.B. Muncy, winning 51-21 in seventh- and eighth-grade action after falling 36-22 in a fifth- and sixth-grade game.
Elie Noe paced Harlan in the win as he scored 15 points. Jackson Perry tossed in nine. Boss Bryson added eight. Dakota Maggard scored four. Carson Osborne, Brody Brock and Zach Boggs added three each. J.J. Forester, Kaden Jackson and Noah Whitaker scored two each.
Lemar led the Dragons in the opening game with nine points. Caudill scored six. Clark tossed in three. Fields and Holman added two each.

Rosspoint opens season with victory at Bell

Led by 16 points from Blake Johnson and 14 from Hudson Faulkner, Rosspoint opened its season with a 44-27 win Saturday at Bell County in fifth- and sixth-grade basketball action.
Carson Sanders and Trey Creech contributed seven and five points, respectively.
