Harlan County third baseman Hannah Johnson played in the East-West All-Star Game on Tuesday at Woodford County High School. The East team, which played without both of its pitchers, lost 15-0 and 18-0 in a doubleheader. Johnson, who saw action at third base, first base, shortstop and second base in the doubleheader, was the 13th Region’s top hitter as a junior in 2019, hitting .634 with three homers, 53 RBI and 52 hits and an on-base percentage of .694. She helped lead HCHS to a fourth straight district championship and a trip to the 13th Region Tournament semifinals. Johnson will continue her softball career at Union College.
