Evarts used a balanced attack to edge Cumberland while Cawood rode yet another big game from Brady Smith to rout Black Mountain and complete the final four field in the seventh- and eighth-grade county tournament with victories Friday at James A. Cawood.
Smith scored 17 to lead the Comets in a 47-19 win over Black Mountain.
Noah Whitaker paced the Tigers with 10 points.
Kobe Noe Sanders and Dakota Maggard each scored 10 points as Evarts downed Cumberland 34-31.
Hayden Grace poured in 21 points to lead the Redskins.
The semifinals are set for Tuesday at JACES with the consolation and championship games Thursday at Harlan County High School.
