Gamboa drives in four as Lady Bears coast past Neon
Carmen Gamboa drove in four runs on three doubles as Harlan County overpowered visiting Fleming Neon 15-4 on Tuesday in middle school softball action.
Maddy Fields added two singles for the Lady Bears. Raegan Landa contributed a double. Bella Ford, Bella Miniard, Jaylin Robinson and Brinley Hensley added one single each.
Fields pitches 1 hitter as Harlan County routs Bell in opener
Harlan County opened the middle school softball season in impressive fashion, scoring 12 runs in the first inning on the way to a 16-0 win Thursday over visiting Bell County.
Maddy Fields pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks to earn the win in the circle.
Reagan Landa and Fields led Harlan County on offense with two hits each. Bella Ford, Bella Miniard, Carmen Gamboa, Brinley Hensley and Kennedy Estes had one single each.
