Brody Owens pitched a no-hitter, striking out 10 and walking two as Harlan rolled to a 16-0 five-inning win Thursday at Thomas Walker, Va.
Luke Luttrell hit a homer and scored three runs to lead the Dragons’ eight-hit attack. Owens drove in three runs and scored three as he doubled twice. Baylor Varner had two singles and two RBI. Chris Rouse, Jared Moore and Aiden Johnson added one single each.
The 4-1 Dragons return to action Saturday at home against Betsy Layne.

Hazard broken open a 2-2 game with six runs in the fourth inning and nine in the sixth to down the Green Dragons 17-2 on Tuesday at Harlan.
Donovan Montanaro, Johnson and Luttrell had one single each for Harlan.
Varner suffered the loss as he gave up eight runs (three earned) on six hits in 3 2/3 innings, with four strikeouts and four walks. Jared Moore allowed four runs on three hits with three strikeouts and no walks in 1 1/3 innings. Rouse allowed four runs on two hits with two walks and no strikeouts in two-thirds of an inning. Johnson allowed one run on two hits with one strikeout as he recorded the final out.
