The Harlan Lady Dragons saved their best softball of the season for the end, closing with a six-game winning streak that included three victories over the weekend at Bell County to capture the Kentucky Middle School Fast Pitch Conference Tournament title.
Harlan (15-4) knocked off Harlan County 8-2 in the championship game as Adelynn Burgan pitched a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and two walks.
Daria Lee led the Harlan offense with a double and two singles. Harmonee Mills and Burgan added doubles. Taylor Glenn and Shaedyn Crow had singles.
Raegan Landa had a double and Bella Miniard added a single for HC.
