Harlan County capitalized on six errors and 10 walks and a strong pitching performance from Alex Creech and Zayden Casolari to defeat visiting Letcher Central 9-2 on Tuesday.
The Black Bears fell behind 2-0 in the opening inning before reeling off nine unanswered runs despite recording only three hits.
Isaac Kelly, Will Cassim and Tristan Cooper each had a hit and RBI for the Bears. Jesse Gilbert and Aiden Craig also drove in runs.
Creech gave up two runs on five hits with three strikeouts and three walks over five innings. Casolari allowed only one hit with two strikeouts over two innings to earn the third save of his freshman season.
Harlan County (15-14) will close its regular season schedule Thursday at home against Williamsburg.

Winners of six straight this time a week ago, the Harlan Green Dragons have now lost three in a row after falling 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday at Knox Central.
Luke Luttrell had the only hit for the 19-10 Dragons with a double.
Jared Moore suffered the loss as he gave up five runs on six hits in 2 2/3 innings. Eli Freyer allowed four runs (two earned) on no hits and three walks in 1 1/3 innings. Jake Brewer gave up one run on two hits.
Grant Miller pitched a one-hitter with six strikeouts and no walks to earn the win.
Austin Bargo drove in two runs on two doubles and a single to lead the Knox offense. Waylon Frazier added a double and single.
Harlan plays host to Letcher Central on Wednesday and travels to Letcher Central on Friday.
