Harlan County High School junior Brayden Casolari continues to compete against some of the best junior golfers in the nation the past two weeks, first at Clemson, S.C., for The First Tee National Championship and then to Prospect for the Kentucky Junior Am at the Nevel Meade Course.
Casolari closed the Kentucky tourney with back-to-back birdies for an eighth-place finish in a field of 144 competitors as he shot an even par over the three-day event.
He finished with a 13-over par in the three-day tournament at Clemson to place 16th against top talent from around the nation.
Casolari returns to action July 21-24 at the Mystic Rock course in Pennsylvania for the National AJGA event.
