Kennedy Sturgill was one of three Lady Cats in double figured with 15 points as Rosspoint rolled to a 54-7 win Tuesday over visiting James A. Cawood. Jaycee Simpson and Taylynn Napier added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Maddie Woods led the Trojanettes with three points.
Lillie Carver scored 10 as Rosspoint won 34-10 in the fifth- and sixth-grade game.

Lady Dragons fall short despite Yost’s double-double

Harlan lost for the third time by three points or less in falling 31-29 at Barbourville in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action Tuesday.
Clarissa Yost poured in 16 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the Lady Dragons. Addyson Patton added seven points and six rebounds.
Harlan won 43-24 in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Khloe Daniels scored 18 and grabbed five rebounds. Bella Lemar added eight points and eight rebounds.
The Lady Dragons return to action Thursday at home against Williamsburg.
