Lady Dragons sweep doubleheader from Williamsburg

After several hard-fought losses, the Harlan Lady Dragons broke through Thursday with a 35-17 rout of visiting Williamsburg in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action. Addyson Patton scored 12 points and Clarissa Yost added 11 for the Lady Dragons.
Bri Morgan led Williamsburg with 12 points.
Harlan won 44-7 in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Lilly Daniels scored 15 and Khloe Daniels added 10.

Abner scored 17 as Lady Lions down Middlesboro

Pineville ran its record to 5-1 with a 39-24 win over visiting Middlesboro in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action Thursday. Hannah Abner scored 17 points and Clara Strange added 14 for the Lady Lions.
Kaprice Rogers paced the Lady Jackets with 13 points.
Ally Fugate led the Lady Lions to a 26-13 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action as she scored 14.
Addison West scored 10 as Pineville won 18-5 in the third- and fourth-grade game.
