The Harlan County middle school football teams split a pair of games Thursday at Whitley County, winning 14-0 in the sixth-grade game and losing 30-14 in eighth-grade action.
Preston Amburgey scored all 14 points for Harlan County in the eighth-grade game with two touchdowns and a two-point conversion.
Rayce Bryant scored two touchdowns for the Bears in the sixth-grade game. Brantley Burkhart had a two-point conversion.
Harlan County returns to action Thursday at Clay County.
