Harlan County and Bell County split a freshman/junior varsity doubleheader Thursday on Log Mountain.
Jacob Grubbs scored 17 and Luke Thomas added 15 as Bel won 53-45 in a freshman game.
Brady Smith led the 1-1 Bears with 13 points. Kaleb Jones and Thyler Coots each added 10.
Cole Cornett poured in 22 as Harlan County (3-0) won 56-49 in junior varsity action.
Kaleb Cornett led the Bobcats with 22 points.
