Strong game in goal by Hunting lifts Bears over Hazard

Harlan County overcame a slow start to defeat visiting Hazard 3-1 on Saturday in soccer action.
Johnny Brock had two goals and Hunter Mefford added one for the Bears.
Nick Hunting had 10 saves and allowed only one goal.
“We played about as bad as we could in the first half,” Harlan County coach Tommy Key said. “Our goalie kept us in the game until our offense woke up.”
Harlan County returns to action Tuesday at home against Perry Central.
