Harlan coach Amanda Vance talked with her team during a break in Saturday’s game against Williamsburg. The Lady Dragons won 25-24 to improve to 5-2 on the season.

Lady Dragons edge Williamsburg

Pineville ran its record to 7-0 with a 48-20 win over visiting Harlan on Thursday in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball.
Malley Smith scored 21 points and Alyssa Howard added 17 to lead the Lady Lions.
Addison Jackson led the Lady Dragons with six points.
Harlan won 23-14 in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Harper Carmical scored eight to lead the Lady Dragons.
Abbi Fields scored 13 points as Harlan (5-2) edged Williamsburg 25-24 on Saturday.
Williamsburg won 31-23 in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Gracie Hensley paced the 4-2 Lady Dragons with 10 points.
Harlan returns to action Monday at Middlesboro. The Lady Dragons play host to Barbourville on Tuesday and Middlesboro on Thursday to close the regular season.
