Lady Cats down Cawood as Napier, Jones team for 23 points
Led by 12 points from Taylynn Napier and 11 from Crissalyn Jones, Rosspoint defeated visiting Cawood 39-31 on Tuesday in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.
Campbell Thompson scored 14 to lead Cawood.
Thompson poured in 24 points and Bella Ford added 13 as Cawood rolled to a 43-15 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Natalie Creech led Rosspoint with six points.

Bryant leads Bears to 5-6 football win at Cumberland
Rayce Bryant ran for a pair of touchdowns while completing 10 of 15 passes for 52 yards as Harlan County ran its record to 4-0 with a 14-0 win at Cumberland in fifth- and sixth-grade football action Saturday at Cumberland.
Bryant also led the Bears in rushing with 95 yards on seven carries. Brady White added 30 adds on five carries.
Jase Wynn led in receptions with five for 32 yards. White had three catches for 15 yards. Nolan had one catch for three yards, plus a two-point conversion.
Carson Clark led the Harlan County defense with two and a half tackles. Hunter Roark had one and a half tackles.
