Both Harlan County teams improved to 7-0 with a homecoming night sweep of Shelby Valley on Saturday.
The seventh- and eighth-grade team rolled to a 35-14 victory after reeling off 35 unanswered points in the first half as Caysen Farley, Hudson Faulkner and Trey Creech continued their season-long surge.
Creech started the scoring with a 30-yard touchdown run.
Farley scored on a 68-yard run, followed by Creech teaming with Faulkner for a 48-yard TD. Farley scored on a 14-yard run, then Creech found Logan Mills for a 22-yard touchdown pass.
Jacob Brock hit all five extra point attempts.
Creech completed five of six passes for 96 yards and two touchdowns — one each to Faulkner and Mills. Farley ran for 82 yards on two carries. Faulkner ran for 65 yards on two carries. Creech had 30 yards rushing on two carries.
The fifth- and sixth-grade team won 20-0 as quarterback Rayce Bryant ran for 130 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. He completed six of eight passes for 40 yards.
Brady White added 40 yards on seven carries with one touchdown. Weston Nolan added 10 yards on two carries.
Jase Wynn and Deacon Lisenbee each had two catches. White and Nolan added one each.
Carson Clark led the HC defense with five tackles. Wynn added three. Nolan had an interception.
