The Harlan County cross country teams had an impressive showing Wednesday at Morgan County while competing in the Morgan County Sorghum Run.
The Lady Bears secured a perfect score to win the meet.
The Bears also won the meet.
To lead the girls, Gracie Roberts won with a time of 20:33.53. She was immediately followed by Lauren Lewis (21:42.67), Kiera Roberts (22:03.78), Preslee Hensley (22:21.98) and Andrea Napier (22:25.51). Ariel Farley placed 10th with a time of 25:42.77, immediately followed by Suzy Mumford (25:46.66). Rounding out the results were Julionna Johnson (13th, 26:00.45), Autumn Farley (15th, 26:39.70), Sienna Banks (17th, 27:13.74), Bella Leath (21st, 28:30.50), Lexi Adams (24th, 30:01.95) and Riley Witt (28th, 31:01.21).
Elijah Moore led the boys, winning with a time of 17:28.98. Jacob Schwenke finished third with a time of 18:01.92. DaShaun Smith (19:13.45) and Braxton Duncan (19:27.26) placed seventh and ninth, respectively. Rounding out the results were Ethan Lewis (11th, 19:46.17), Braxton Hubbard (16th, 20:24.73), Robby Johnson (21st, 20:49.63), Karson Dunn (22nd, 20:52.52), Ben Cochran (30th, 22:06.33), Kaylob Stevens (31st, 22:09.43), Gabriel Bailey (37th, 23:04.28), Jayden Sargent (39th, 23:31.92), Landon Cook (51st, 25:47.90) and Jordan Sargent (67th, 32:13.40).
