The Harlan County Lady Bears recorded their second shutout win in 2A Section 7 Tournament action, advancing to the finals with a 14-0 victory in five innings over McCreary Central on Tuesday at Corbin.
Alexis Adams struck out eight and walked two in three hitless innings to earn the win in the circle. Jordyn Smith gave up three hits in two shutout innings with three strikeouts and no walks.
Aly Sherman led a 14-hit attack with a double and two singles. Kendall Brock and Smith each had a double and single. Raegan Landa and Jaylin Robinson each singled twice. Adams, Carmen Thomas and Bella Miniard added one double each.
The 3-1 Lady Bears will play Clay County on Wednesday in the tourney championship game at 6 p.m. Clay advanced with a 6-4 win over Whitley County.
