Harlan scored the first run of the game against Pineville ace Rachel Howard, but the Lady Lions reeled off the next 11 for an 11-1 win Thursday at Pineville.

Howard gave up three hits with 16 strikeouts and three walks.

Rayanna Maidon led the Pineville offense with a double and single. Howard singled twice. Kameran Evans had a triple. Monica Whitehead and Isabella Adams added one single each.

Daria Lee, Harmonee Mills and Addyson Patton had one single each for the 2-12 Lady Dragons.

Addyson Lewis suffered the loss in the circle, giving up three hits and five runs (four earned) on eight strikeouts and six walks. Lacey Lemarr allowed six runs (three earned) on four hits with two strikeouts and one walk.

Pineville (7-6) plays host to Barbourville on Friday. Harlan will be at home against Bell County on Monday.
