James A. Cawood’s Leah Davis continued her strong start in this coronavirus delayed season as she scored 17 points in the Trojanettes’ 44-7 rout of Cumberland on Monday in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action at JACES.
Kasady Hall led Cumberland with seven points.
Rileigh Duff scored six as Rosspoint edged Evarts 19-14.
Hannah Kirby led Evarts with five points.
Maddi Middleton scored 15 and Cheyenne Rhymer added 14 as Cawood defeated Wallins 29-21.
Rosspoint and Black Mountain were winners in fifth- and sixth-grade action Tuesday at Harlan County High School.
Shasta Brackett poured in 10 points to lead Rosspoint in a 28-3 rout of Cumberland.
Julia Vick scored 14 points, all in the first quarter, on the way to.a 38-3 win over Evarts.
