Harlan County has had more than its share of offensive problems this season, but hitting was not an issue Thursday in a 13-0 win at Thomas Walker. Va.
Zayden Carolari had a homer and single and Carson Clark pounded out two doubles and a single while driving in three runs each to lead a 12-hit attack. Brayden Morris and DaShaun Smith each singled twice. Kayden Adams added a double. Chance Sturgill and Gunner Burkhart had one single each.
Clark gave up two hits with three strikeouts and no walks in 2 1/3 innings. Aiden Lewis allowed one hit with four strikeouts and no walks in 1 2/3 innings to earn the. win. Morris pitched one shutout inning with two strikeouts and no walks.
The 11-13 Bears play host to Clay County on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Clay County scored six runs in the fifth inning Tuesday to rally for an 11-5 win over the visiting Bears.
Smith, Sturgill and Burkhart each had two hits for the Bears. Morris and Jesse Gilbert added one each.
Casolari suffered the loss as he gave up nine runs on nine hits in five innings with three strikeouts and two walks. Lewis allowed two runs on no hits and three walks in one inning.

Harlan County collected 19 hits in a 22-8 junior varsity win Thursday at Williamsburg.
Tobey Lunsford drover in four runs with two doubles and two singles in four at bats. Byron Shepherd had two doubles and a single. Kyllian Jackson singled three times and drove in three runs. Jackson Mackowiak singled twice and scored four runs. Elijah Creech and Jackson Bird each singled twice and scored three runs. Hayston Hensley had a triple. Andrew Vance and Logan Mills singled once each.
Mackowiak gave up one run in one inning. Creech earned the win as he allowed one run in two innings. Vance allowed one run in one inning. Jackson, Mills and Hensley recorded one out each to close the game.
