With three starters in double figures, Letcher Central led from start to finish in coasting to a 69-38 win Tuesday at June Buchanan in a 53rd District clash.
The Cougars grabbed a 24-4 lead after one quarter and extended its advantage to 41-13 by halftime.
Letcher capitalized on 24 JBS turnovers they turned into 30 points
Nigel Nichols and Kaden Adams, both juniors, led the 2-2 Cougars with 11 points each.
Junior guard Grant Varney led the 1-3 Crusaders with 12 points. Junior center Kaden Adams added 11 points and seven rebounds.
June Buchanan plays host to Casey County on Saturday. Letcher Central travels to Cordia on Friday.
