Letcher Central raced to a 17-4 lead after one quarter on Monday on the way to a 55-37 win over visiting Hazard.
Kaylee Banks scored 20 points and Brooke Bates added 12 for the 5-4 Lady Cougars.
Andrianna Harris and Hayley Caudill led Hazard (2-8) with 17 points each.
Both teams return to action this week at Harlan as Hazard travels there on Tuesday and Letcher Central on Thursday.
