Lady Dragons edge Cumberland in softball opener
Harlan’s Ella Lisenbee beat the tag from Cumberland catcher Kasady Hall in middle school softball action earlier this week. Harlan won 6-5 in four innings.

The season-opening middle school softball opener ended in walkoff fashion Tuesday as Harlan edged Cumberland 6-5 with a run in the fourth inning.
Ella Lisenbee, Ella Farley and Ava Nunez had hits for the Lady Dragons.
Lisenbee was the winning pitcher
Alyssa Sherman, Aviya Halcomb and Lauren Polson had hits for Cumberland.
Sherman pitched a three-hitter for Cumberland and added five strikeouts and two walks.
