Leslie County broke open a tie game with a five-run fourth inning on the way to a 14-8 win Monday at Harlan in middle school baseball action.
Brody Owens led the Dragons with three singles. Baylor Varner added a triple. Eli Freyer, Joseph Hoskins, Jaxson Perry and Matthew Nunez contributed one single each. Freyer drove in three runs. Varner drove in two runs. Hoskins and Nunez added one RBI each.
Freyer pitched three innings and struck out four. Luke Luttrell struck out two in 2 1/3 innings. Perry struck out one in 2/3 of an inning.
