Harlan reeled off four wins in middle school softball action this week, beginning an 18-3 win Monday over visiting New Harlan.
Amy Roman led the Lady Dragons with a double and single. Abbi Fields had a triple. Addison Jackson added a double. Ava Nunez, Carley Thomas and Ella Lisenbee added one single each.
Harlan swept a doubleheader against visiting Barbourville on Tuesday, winning 19-1 in the opening game and 28-8 in the nightcap.
Lisenbee and Fields each had an inside-the-park homer and a single in the first game. Jackson added a double and single. Thomas, Nunez and Roman added one single each.
Lisenbee pounded out four hits in the nightcap, including an inside-the-park homer, a double and two singles. Fields had an inside-the-park homer and two singles. Jackson added a triple and two singles. Ella Farley and Ally Kirby had three singles each. Roman added two singles.
Harlan rolled to a 17-0 win over Pineville on Thursday to improve to 8-0. Thomas struck out nine as she pitched a shutout in the three-inning game.

Harlan dropped a 12-2 decision to Bell County in middle school baseball action Thursday.
Brody Owens, Eli Freyer and Baylor Varner each had singles for the Dragons. Owens drove in both runs.
Freyer, Luke Luttrell, Jaxson Perry and Brody Brock shared mound duty.
Owens pitched.a complete game Friday with 10 strikeouts and three walks in an 11-1 win over New Harlan.
Freyer led the Dragons at the plate with three singles. Chris Rouse and Brock had a double and single each. Owens singled twice. Perry, Varner and Landon Myers added one single each.
