Jared Moore pitched a two-hitter Tuesday as Harlan routed Pineville 17-1.

Jared Moore pitched a two-hitter and allowed only one unearned run as Harlan rolled to a 17-1 win Tuesday at Pineville.
Moore, a freshman righthander, struck out five and walked one in the five-inning game.
Shane Lindsey, Donovan Montanaro and Moore each had two hits to lead the Harlan offense. Ethan Cornett added a double. Evan Browning, Jeremiah Mills, Jaedyn Gist and Noah Lewis contributed one single each. Lindsey drove in three runs, while Bryson, Moore and Montanaro added two RBI each.
The 7-14 Dragons play Pineville again on Thursday at home and will play host to Whitley County on Friday.

Harlan split a doubleheader on Saturday at Leslie County, losing 11-8 in the opener before winning 4-1 in the nightcap.
Shane Lindsey led the Dragons in the opening game with four hits in four at bats, including two doubles. Evan Browning singled twice. Jeremiah Mills and Jaedyn Gist added one double each. Ethan Cornett, Noah Lewis and Donovan Montanaro contributed one single each.
Jared Moore suffered the loss as he gave up four runs (one earned) in 3 1/3 innings.
Gunnar Couch pitched a complete game for Leslie County, giving up eight runs on 11 hits.
Browning pitched a three-hitter in the second game with six strikeouts and only one walk.
John Mark Bryson and Moore paced the Harlan offense with two hits each. Browning, Lindsey, Montanaro and Gist had one hit each.
