Harlan County’s Serenity Whitehead went up to finish off a point in action earlier this season. The Lady Bears defeated visiting Barbourville on Monday.

Harlan County made it two straight with a 25-11, 25-21, 25-22 victory Monday over visiting Barbourville.
Chloe Shelton had 24 assists and two kills to lead HCHS. Lindsey Browning added 10 kills and four aces. Serenity Whitehead contributed seven aces, four kills and one assist. Kalista Dunn added six kills and four aces. Lily Caballero added six kills and two aces. Lindsay Hall had three kills and one ace. Kamryn Hoiska added one ace.
The 2-4 Lady Bears travel to Bell County on Thursday.

Harlan County won 21-7, 21-13 in junior varsity action.
Ashton Evans had nine straight service points, including four aces, in the first set. Kylee Hoisks led HC in the second set with seven service points, including five aces.
