Local middle school football teams suffered losses Thursday as Harlan County dropped a doubleheader to visiting Corbin and Harlan lost at Williamsburg.
The Black Bears lost 22-6 in seventh-grade action and 29-0 in the eighth-grade game.
HCHS fell to 3-2 in seventh-grade action and 2-4 in eighth-grade competition. Both teams will return to action Tuesday at Knox Central.
Harlan fell to 1-4 and will play host to Pineville on Saturday.
No additional information or statistics were available on any of the games last week.
