Knox Central hands Green Dragons first loss

Harlan suffered its first loss of the season Thursday in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action, falling 40-35 at Knox Central.
Dylan Cox scored 15 to lead the 2-1 Dragons.
Knox Central rolled to a 60-24 win in junior varsity action.

Trojanettes edge Evarts in regular-season finale

James A. Cawood closed the regular season Thursday with a 25-23 win over visiting Evarts.
Lacy Robinson scored nine points and Jaidyn Marlowe added eight for the Trojanettes.
Macy Jones and Trinity Jones each scored six points to lead Evarts.
Carmen Thomas and Addy David each scored 10 points as JACES rolled to a 40-9 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
JACES won 4-2 in a junior varsity game.
