Trojans lose to Bell, Mountain View in tournament

James A. Cawood suffered a pair of hard-fought losses Tuesday in the JACES Holiday Tournament, falling 42-39 to Bell County and 40-37 to Mountain View.
Kaden Jones led the Trojans against Bell County with 19 points. Brennan Blevins and Landon Brock added 10 each.
Blevins scored 11 and Jones added 10 against Mountain View. Brock scored nine, followed by Jacob Sage with three and Bradon Clay and Bryson Bryant with two each.

Creech leads Rosspoint to win over Redskins

Trey Creech poured in 22 points to lead Rosspoint past visiting Cumberland 44-16 in fifth- and sixth-grade basketball action.
Hayden Grace led the Redskins with eight points.
