Madison Central edges HCHS in Tim Short Automotive Classic


Led by a 37-point, 15-rebound effort from senior forward Will Hardin, Madison Central edged Harlan County 74-69 on Saturday during the Tim Short Automotive Classic at George Rogers Clark High School.
Junior wing Jaylen Davis added 21 points for the 8-5 Indians, who are ranked second in the 11th Region.
Freshman guard Maddox Huff scored 26 points to lead the 10-4 Black Bears. Jackson Huff and Trent Noah added 13 points each.
Harlan County returns to action Tuesday at home against Bell County in a girls/boys doubleheader.
