Trent Noah

During a week in which he rewrote the county basketball history books, Harlan County guard Trent Noah was the obvious choice as the Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week.
Noah scored 42 points in a win over Middlesboro on Tuesday to break his own school scoring record for boys, then scored 44 two nights later in a win over Letcher Central to break the boys record again and the overall school record previously held by all-stater Blair Green. Noah shattered all the records Saturday as he scored 66 points, hitting 25 of 33 shots from the field, as the Bears defeated visiting Cordia 128-105. His point total placed him second in county history behind only Harlan’s Wah Wah Jones, who scored 68 in a win over Artemus during the 1943-44 season.
