Another strong effort on the mound by Madison Blair and the best hitting night of the young season propeled Harlan County to a 10-4 win Monday at Leslie County.

Blair struck out 10 and walked two while giving up six hits to earn the win. All four Leslie County runs were unearned.

Jade Burton and Blair led the Lady Bears at the plate with three hits each. Jenna Wilson added a triple and single. Halanah Shepherd and Brittleigh Estep added two singles each with Shepherd scoring three times and Estep scoring twice. Rylie Maggard had a triple. Honesty Thomas added a single.

The 2-5 Lady Bears play host to Whitley County on Thursday.
