Harlan County sophomore Thomas Jordan was a winner in the 200-meter dash on Friday.

Harlan County swept both the boys and girls divisions on Friday in the season-opening Harlan County All-Comers race at Coal Miners Memorial Stadium.
The Lady Bears finished with 148.5 points, 30 points ahead of second place South Laurel. Leslie County was third with with 115.5 points, followed by Middlesboro with 50, Whitley County with 32, Williamsburg with 31, Harlan with 24.5, Letcher Central with 24, Riverside Christian with 20, Jenkins with 19, Bell County and Lynn Camp with 18 each, Red Bird with 16 and Barbourville with six.
The HCHS boys won in even more dominating fashion with 195.5 points, we’ll ahead of second-place Williamsburg with 78.5 points. Letcher Central was third with 73 points, followed by Whitley County with 59, Middlesboro with 54, South Laurel with 53, Harlan with 46, Bell County with 38, Leslie County with 35, Knox Central with 34, Barbourville with 15 and Pineville with eight.
